The early church spoke of the resurrected Jesus as Christus Victor – the victorious Christ who overcame evil, darkness, and death. Each of these passages are related to Christ’s victory in these areas and are followed by a few prayer suggestions as well as a prompt for you to listen to what God wants to say to you.
